The Japanese god of thunder and a known pairing to Fujin. With a stick
in each hand, he generates deafening waves of lightning as he strikes
the tomoe drums on his back. Both Raijin and Fujin were originally evil
demons who opposed Buddha. They were captured by Buddha's Messengers of
Heaven and have since worked as protective deities.
